5 Free Anthropologie Inspired Knitting Patterns

Anthropologie is such an inspiring store, but not all of us can afford the high prices that accompany most of their items. The good news is that you can get the look without breaking the bank, with DIY versions of your favorite knits that are sure to keep your fingers busy all winter long! Check out these five Anthropologie-inspired knitting patterns to add some flash to your wardrobe.

Scarves never go out of style, and this ruffled version from  Meghan Fernandes of Allergic to Wool, which can also be found on Ravelry features a double-sided cable pattern with a broomstick crochet border. Whip it up in all your favorite colors, using luxurious wools in a worsted weight, all thanks to Meghan’s generosity in creating this Anthropologie-inspired free knitting pattern.

Anthropologie is known for adorable scarves and ascot, and this must-have addition to your wardrobe – from CyberLeek Liya Cornelius on Ravelry – looks as fabulous with a sweater and jeans as it does with your favorite dress.  The picture on the left is the original from Anthro, and the one on the right is Liya’s own Anthropologie-inspired creation that she has generously shared as a free knitting pattern.  Choose a cozy chunky yarn to knit up this cable knit ascot with a built in loop for the perfect crossover.

Keeping your tresses in place has never been easier on a cold winter’s day, thanks to this Anthropologie-inspired headband knitting pattern by Jen Geigley on Ravelry, who generously shares this pattern for free. Just a few yards of bulky weight yarn gives you the perfect head warmer to keep you in style throughout the season.  Anthro’s original version is on the left, and Jen’s lovely version looks warm and charming on the right.

Add some bling to your look with this fabulous Anthropologie-inspired bracelet we found at CrochetClouds.  Thanks to Gina Michele’s free knitting pattern, this version makes up quick with just a bit of bit of knitting yarn and a few jewelry chains. Broken necklaces are a great recycling option for this knitting project. Make one for all of your wardrobe ensembles.  The Anthro version is on the left for $158, but we think Gina Michele’s version for $4 is actually more stylish!

Anthropologie’s Wintermallows headband is so cute on the left, but so is Flower Girl Cottage’s version on the right!  She offers this Anthropologie-inspired free knitting pattern suitable for even beginners, and it can double as an adorable scarf too!
